Measuring the Neck instructions

Choosing the right size collar for your dog is essential, as a collar that is too large may slide off while a collar that is too small may be difficult to put on.

To measure your dog's neck, simply wrap a flexible measuring tape around the middle of the neck where you want the collar to sit. Ensure that the collar is snug but not too tight. It's advisable to give 1-2 inches more to the true neck size to allow for slight hang and a better fit. If you don't have a flexible tape measure, you can use a string or similar material to measure the neck's middle and then compare it with a tape measure.

We always recommend going for the next size up for a more comfortable fit. For instance, if your dog's neck measures 20", we suggest ordering the 22". However, it's important to make sure that the size you purchase is larger than your dog's neck but smaller than their overall head size to prevent the collar from slipping off.

In some cases when the dog's head is slim, such as a Doberman Pincher. In such cases, there should be limited slack. Please note that all links come in 2" increments.
